Clean. Make sure your home is clean. If you choose to have a management company take care of this for you then make sure you use a established company that has a good reputation.

Furnished Properties. You should try within reason to equip your home with items such as beds, chairs, cooker and fridge. Electrical items such as TV´s will normally be brought by the tenant. Bedding and towels etc need not be supplied.

Information. No-one is going to know more about your area than you so compile some useful information for your tenants. For example directions to shops, transport links etc. Important information like emergency services numbers and Doctors/Pharmacy addresses and numbers should always be available.
